Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Puzzle Arena collects, uses, stores, protects and, when necessary, shares information related to your use of the Puzzle Arena app and official services.
Puzzle Arena is a puzzle game with progress, rewards, events, ads shown in the app, optional purchases and account features for progress sync. This policy should be read together with the app's Terms of Use.
1. Who is responsible for processing
The person responsible for the data processing described in this policy is Felipe Ramos, developer of Puzzle Arena. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at hello@puzzlearena.app.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect or process the following information:
- Account data: name, nickname, email, account identifier and basic data received when you sign in through authentication providers such as Apple, Google or Facebook.
- Game data: progress, stages, chapters, missions, score, XP, coins, essence, items, skins, achievements, inventory, settings, match history and event participation.
- Technical and device data: device model, operating system, language, approximate country or region, app version, technical identifiers, IP address, connection logs, diagnostic data and information needed for security and functionality.
- Local preferences: language, light/dark theme, audio preferences, notifications and other settings saved in the app or on the device.
- Support data: email, message content, attachments, diagnostic information and other information you voluntarily send when requesting help.
- Advertising data: advertising identifiers, ad interaction information and technical data processed by ad networks, when applicable and according to system permissions.
- Purchase data: purchase status, purchased product, receipt or transaction identifier and information needed to unlock items, packs, Remove Ads or other benefits purchased in the app.
Puzzle Arena does not collect credit card data. Payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play, depending on the platform used.
3. Local identifier and use without login
The app may create a local identifier on the device to save progress and preferences even when you do not sign in. This identifier is used for game functionality, local progress recovery, security and consistency of the experience.
When you decide to create an account or sign in, part of your local progress may be linked to your account to allow synchronization and recovery on other devices.
4. How we use information
- Provide, operate and improve Puzzle Arena.
- Save, sync and recover progress, rewards and purchases.
- Display game content, events, missions, rewards, inventory and customizations.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse, fraud and misuse.
- Respond to support requests and solve technical issues.
- Display ads and measure their performance, when applicable.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, contractual or platform obligations, including App Store and Google Play rules.
5. Legal bases for processing
When applicable law requires a legal basis, we process data under one or more of the following grounds:
- Contract performance: to provide the app, account features, progress, purchases, rewards and support.
- Consent: when required for optional features, personalized advertising, notifications or device permissions.
- Legitimate interest: for security, abuse prevention, app improvement, diagnostics and service-related communication.
- Legal or regulatory obligation: when we need to retain or provide information required by law.
6. Advertising and AdMob
Puzzle Arena may display ads through Google AdMob or equivalent services. These services may process technical data, advertising identifiers, IP address, device information and ad interactions to display, limit, measure and protect ads.
When required by the platform or applicable law, the app may request consent for personalized advertising. You can also control tracking and ad personalization permissions in Android, iOS or your Google/Apple account settings.
7. In-app purchases
Purchases such as optional packs, items, bonuses, Logic Pack, Mega Pack or Remove Ads are processed by the App Store or Google Play. Puzzle Arena receives only the information needed to validate the purchase and unlock the corresponding content in the app.
Refunds, payment methods and complete financial history are managed by the purchase platform, subject to Apple or Google policies.
8. Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when necessary to operate the app, comply with obligations or protect users and the service, including:
- With infrastructure, database, authentication, hosting, advertising, diagnostics, purchase and support providers.
- With Apple, Google, Meta/Facebook and other providers when you use login, store, advertising or services connected to those platforms.
- When required by law, court order, competent authority or to protect rights, security and app integrity.
- In case of reorganization, transfer or continuity of the project, provided protections compatible with this policy are maintained.
9. Third-party services
Puzzle Arena may use services such as:
- Supabase β storage, authentication, database and secure data synchronization.
- Apple, Google and Facebook/Meta β authentication, identity, stores, payments, platform policies and related features.
- Google AdMob β ad display, mediation, measurement and ad security.
- App Store and Google Play β app distribution, purchases, receipts, refunds and store features.
Use of these services is subject to their respective privacy policies and terms. We recommend that you also review Apple, Google, Meta/Facebook and Supabase policies.
10. Security
We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure or destruction. This includes, when applicable, secure transmission, access controls, authentication, security logs and limiting data access according to need.
No system is completely risk-free. If you suspect misuse of your account or a security issue, contact us at hello@puzzlearena.app.
11. Data retention and deletion
We keep data for as long as necessary to provide the app, maintain your account, synchronize progress, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and protect the service.
- Account and progress data are kept while your account is active or while needed for game functionality and recovery.
- Support data may be kept for the time needed to resolve the request and maintain a minimal support history.
- Technical and security logs may be kept for a limited period for audit, fraud prevention and stability.
- Purchase-related data may be kept when needed to prove transactions, unlock benefits, comply with store rules or legal obligations.
When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize associated personal data, except when retention is necessary for legal reasons, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or platform obligations.
12. Your rights and controls
Depending on applicable law, you may request:
- Access to the personal data we keep about you.
- Correction of incorrect or outdated data.
- Deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Portability or a copy of data, when applicable.
- Information about data sharing and use.
- Withdrawal of consent, when processing depends on it.
To exercise your rights, you may:
- Use the Delete account button in the app settings, when available.
- Email hello@puzzlearena.app with the account email, user identifier or login provider used.
- Adjust ad, tracking, notification and permission preferences directly in Android or iOS settings.
13. Children and teenagers
Puzzle Arena is not specifically directed to young children and does not seek to intentionally collect personal data from children without the required permission from legal guardians. If you believe a child has provided us personal data improperly, contact us so we can review and remove the information when applicable.
14. International transfers
Services used by Puzzle Arena may store or process data in other countries. When this happens, we will adopt reasonable measures to protect information according to this policy and applicable laws.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the app, services used, stores, laws or operational practices. The latest version will be available in the app or on the official Puzzle Arena website.
